Ajentis Medical Emergency Training Programs:

Ajentis Medical Emergency Training Programs combine the latest available technology and methodology creating an easy, low stress adult learning environment. Each student is provided with their own equipment and excellent support materials. Our award winning interactive video learning system and focused hands-on real life training scenarios use of the highest quality training devices available.  Students leave with the skills and confidence to respond according to their level of training.

These certified courses are taught in accordance with the guidelines of the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada and are Workplace Health and Safety recognized. All courses can be customized for your business or group. Usual and customary travel costs may apply. Training program contracts are available upon request.  A minimum charge for 10 students will apply to each course unless otherwise agreed upon.

HeartSaver CPR                                                                                                       Option #9111

The HeartSaver CPR course is designed to teach lay rescuers the lifesaving skills of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) as well as relief of choking in responsive and unresponsive adults and children. The importance and use of barrier protection and an introduction to the use of the Automated External Defibrillator (AED) will be covered.

HeartSaver AED                                                                                                       Option #9112

The HeartSaver AED course is designed to teach lay rescuers the lifesaving skills of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and relief of choking in adults, children, and infants. Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use is taught for adults and children. This course teaches participants to recognize and treat emergencies such as cardiac arrest, heart attack, stroke and choking. The course is designed for those who have a duty to respond to a cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements. This course is also open to the general public.

  • One and Two Rescuer Adult/Child/Infant CPR
  • Adult/Child/Infant Choking (Responsive and Unresponsive)

Healthcare Provider                                                                                                  Option #9113

The Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers course addresses core material such as adult and pediatric CPR including two-rescuer scenarios and the use of bag-valve-mask (BVM), foreign-body airway obstruction, and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use. A participant compact disc is included with the text and contains supplemental information on topics such as stroke, cardiac arrest, and special resuscitation situations. The course is designed for healthcare providers such as emergency medical services (EMS) personnel, physicians, dentists, nurses, and respiratory therapists who need a course recognized by the Heart and Stroke Foundation. This course is also open to first responders who have a duty to respond to a cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements.

This one day course covers skills to deal with both life threatening and non-life threatening conditions until Emergency Medical Services arrives.  This course will include training in adult, child and infant CPR skills and Automated External Defibrillation (AED), following the standards of the Heart & Stroke Foundation Guidelines 2005 for Basic Life Support.  Workplace Health & Safety recognized.
